It Starts Here:
The Core Project at the Philadelphia Museum of Art

The Core Project is the overarching name for several updates to the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s (PMA) programming and footprint through 2021. This includes a redesign of the interior by Frank Gehry, some new public programs, and a boost to its endowment. PMA asked for the best way to communicate these changes to the museum in a way that felt fresh and modern, but was still respectful to the existing PMA branding. The challenge: the new pages had to exist inside the PMA's current website, which has a custom CMS that no one currently at the museum knows how to use.

Working with some external partners, including Gehry Partners and their architectural rendering group, K-XL, our team designed and built an incredibly seamless and intuitive experience for the PMA's diverse audiences. Pay special attention to the "Explore" section of the site, where our team has worked with assets from Gehry and co to create an interactive experience that allows users to explore the future renovations to the museum.
